Vacation rentals near Idyllwild Park

My husband and I were looking for a romantic getaway to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This place delivered everything we hoped for and more. The property is at the end of the cul-de-sac which makes it feel very private. It's nestled amongst huge boulders, trees and a lovely babbling creek. Upon arrival, we enjoyed the many information sheets which helped us quickly settle in and felt a like a fun little game. The hosts were very reachable and answered our emails and texted very promptly. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The town of Iddlywild is only a 5-min drive away and it's adorable with all the stores you need to stock up for your stay. We stayed for a week so ventured further afield, Palm Springs is just over an hour away, Joshua Tree National Park is another 30-mins beyond there. San Diego was a bit of a longer drive (2.5 hrs), but we were able to enjoy the mountains, the desert and the ocean all from this central location. Highly recommend!

This property was wonderful for myself two children and two dogs. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone needing to escape the desert heat.

My husband & I just spent two weeks at this lovely property . It is every bit as wonderful as it looks and has all the amenities of home . We enjoyed many afternoons on the wraparound deck , reading or watching the birds . Our two pups were on squirrel watch while we were there and loved every minute of it ! The town of Idyllwild is absolutely charming with many great little shops and the restaurants are exceptional ! Navigating our way around the town , especially at night back to the cabin was a challenge . There are many trails around , we took in a few though not as many as we had hoped . We loved our vacation !
