Upper East vacation rentals

Communication rated at 2 stars as we did have some difficulties: our first two attempts to book the property expired but once we messaged the host he confirmed the booking; we had to message the host to receive check-in instructions as they weren’t sent out automatically. Once at the property, the host responded promptly to texts related to fans and cooling down the house (kitchen area really warms up with the afternoon sun so open windows to create a cross-breeze!). The house is well-equipped and super-comfortable for a group of 4 adults. It’s close to State Street, a Ralph’s grocery store (we prepared several meals and enjoyed the flat-top!), and a short-ish walk to the beach. Glad we persisted and were able to book this home-away-from-home and would stay here again if we were to return to Santa Barbara!

Ken and Liz have a fantastic suite on their property that offers great access to all amenities in Santa Barbara. You are virtually 10-15 minutes from anything. The suite is quiet, well-appointed, and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to other visitors.
