Vacation rentals near Lake Mohegan Beach

We stayed at the rental for one week - house itself clean and very cosy with ample space for one family. Backyard huge and fenced in for our dog. Walking distance to beach. Lots of biking close by. Easy walk to main street with amazing restaurants and cute shops! Fairfield is a great base to explore the whole CT coast! Would definitely stay again!

If you would like to be in the room most of the time - work or just stay inside - the place is fantastic: it is uniquely and very tastefully arranged and has everything you need. The host offered access to a co-working place downstairs, which is a brilliantly planned facility. If you. however would like to enjoy the beach while lacking the local car plate registration, be prepared to either walk there (30 min) or pay $50/day entry fee on weekends (2022 numbers). Our stay was very pleasant, and the host checked in with us several times.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The property is very clean, very well maintained and quiet. The hosts are well organized and friendly. The listing describes the property accurately. I enjoyed sampling the local golf courses (recommend Tashua Knolls for quality and value). Day trip into the city is practical from this location.
