Peaceful Bliss

My daughter and I stayed 6 nights at this wonderful cabin nestled in the woods on Six Mile lake. Although there was no electricity the gas powered stove and refrigerator made it home away from home. We spent our mornings on the porch and became friends with the birds and squirrels that visited us. It was amazing how being secluded helped melt away stress. Not to mention everyday canoe rides, rain or shine. Will definitely go again.

9 of us came from out of the country to shoot some photos of the stars out near Acadia National Park; Connie's house was lovely and a good place to call home base. Only thing we were not too keen on were the sleeping situations, as some of us had to double up on the beds, but the listing says that 11 are able to sleep comfortably. A more accurate listing of the available beds would be ideal, but it was only a minor inconvenience that we worked through. Connie was very helpful and eager to help, we really enjoyed our stay!
