Scargo Hill Observation Tower vacation rentals

This was an absolute gem for a vacation in the Cape. This was our first time staying in South Yarmouth (all of our previous cape trips were near Provincetown) and I can say without a doubt this was a perfect location. So close to Cape Cod Mall, all the great eats, and lots of activities to keep the kids busy within a 15 min drive. We were two families with 12 year olds and we had plenty of space and having the hot tub on the deck and water access was incredible. The hosts were super attentive and responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely return, and recommend to anyone looking to go to the Cape.

A great place to stay if you want to take your young child to the beach. Just a short walk to the sound (Keyes Beach) where the water isn't too rough and the beach isn't crowded. The back porch served us comfortably for all of out meals. I was pleased to find that there was enough room for our toddler's travel crib at the foot of the bed, as well as a chair for those times when I had to cuddle him back to sleep. The mattress is amazing on the bed, too. The only drawback was that the window air-conditioning unit would tent to get loud, but you get used to it. The keyless entry made for incredibly easy check-in at whatever hour we needed, and kept us from having to keep track of keys when we went down for a swim or into town. The walk to Main Street and the Harbor is do-able, but definitely a bit far for most when carrying a kid. Great stuff for the little one to explore once in town, though. Most of all, a big thanks to the team at RRI, who helped me out with any trouble I encountered along the way. They go above and beyond to help you out. :)

Perfect location for exploring the cape, riding the CCRT, walking to Chatham, hopping on ferry to Nantucket. Restaurants and groceries both walking distance depending how you want to spend your evenings. Lots of comfy space indoors plus plentiful outdoor space to eat and relax.
