Vacation rentals near Blue Ridge Vineyard

I usually do not write reviews but I had to at least comment on the wonderful owners of this house. They are so nice and helpful in every way and their house is very clean and conveniently located.

Thanks Mitch and Bobbi, we had a great time at your cottage on the creek. Our family of 4, a 2.5 and a 4.5 year old loved the location in the mountains. It was so peaceful to sit with your morning coffee outside with the sounds of the birds and whistling wind in the trees. Lounging in the tubes, or boating down creek was a great way to "get away from it all" and we did this multiple times a day. As other guests noted previously, the Smores kit were very much appreciated and utilised and cookies were delicious. We hiked on the Roaring run trail to see the waterfalls and explored in and around the creek as well. The creek was relatively calm, but deceiving even at what looked like low levels. The girls did have difficulty on their own in the current so both of us were close by just in case. We did see some muskie and bass further down creek in the deeper pools, but no luck catching them. We did manage some smaller fish right in front of the cottage. We also saw a small black bear cross the creek down stream as well, where the rocks came up making the water ankle deep so I would be aware at sunrises and sunsets. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!
