Seychelles villas

Overall we had a very nice stay. Villa Mimi has an enviable location as the beautiful Beau Vallon beach is literally at the bottom of the garden. The sunsets from the beach are just spectacular, the sand is clean and soft and the ocean temperature is like a warm bath. Numerous restaurants, supermarkets and other stores are within easy walking distance. All of the staff including Verlaine and the 24/7 Security guards were very friendly and helped us with our every needs. The swimming pool is very clean and perfect to take the edge off those hot sunny days. There is a very comfortable large deck next to the private pool with an ocean view. Having early morning tea outside to the calming sound of the ocean and the birds singing was simply magical. Our only criticism is that the house wasn’t as clean as we would have liked when we arrived. The microwave had not been cleaned, and there were other areas that could use a good dusting. Finally, there were items not provided that we are used to, having stayed at numerous VRBO properties in the past. For example, there was no shampoo in the showers and the kitchen had no paper towels or other basics that we have come to expect. The villa is a little worn and could do with a bit of a facelift, nothing major, just some painting, upgraded appliances and minor repairs. Despite these minor improvements we really enjoyed our stay. Mahé is a beautiful piece of paradise and we will always have fond memories of our stay in Villa Mimi.
