Holiday rentals near Kangaroo Island Spirits

Herb thought of everything. The house was so well equipped. The view was great. It was a short, 5 minutes walk to the beach. We even had a koala and an echidna living in the garden.

House was amazing,clean,everything you could need.Made very welcome by owners. Wildlife fantastic.Great stay. Beaches are outstanding.

This wonderful property exceeded all expectations. It's position in the dunes protects it from cold winds that might blow from up from Antarctica whilst still affording the most wonderful views of the bay - even from the bathroom! The house is very comfortable and the well chosen, eclectic décor immediately made us feel at home. To look out of the windows in the early morning and see kangaroos and a variety of birds was a daily treat. Although we had admired the bay from the house, we were not prepared for the beauty of the beach, a short walk through the dunes. To have such a place to oneself was another treat.

Amazing stay in a beautiful house. Very well presented and equipped. Highlights were sitting on the deck with kangaroos and wallabies right in front of us. Beautiful sunsets and we loved the peace and quiet.

Lovely place. Being pedantic, bath tiles extremely slippery & a door on the main hand basin area for privacy from passage would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay on Kangaroo Island and thought the chalet was perfect for our needs. Well kitted out and in a good location being close to Kingscote which is where the majority of the islands restaurants and shops are. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, good shower... what more can you ask for?!
