We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Hill. The apartment is everything you need and more.If you have any questions just ask as from the point of booking all the way to the end of your stay you are kept informed and updated by the hosts. This includes the obligatory checking in process but also tips on the area, restaurants, shopping where to, how to and what to. The beach club membership is an added advantageWe will be returning to Barbados as soon as we are able and will have no hesitation in staying here again.

We stayed with our grown up boys, their partners and our 20 month grandson (7 in total). The property was very spacious, clean with everything we needed. There were books, games, toys for indoors and plenty of things for use in and around the pool, noodles, balls and several floating jackets for children.It’s a 10 minute walk to Holetown beach but also not far to walk to Folkestone conservation beach. Also easy walk to the supermarket and great restaurants.Andrea and Alec are fantastic hosts, very friendly and kind and I felt they really wanted to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We stayed here for 5 days as a family (5 adults/2 children). We had a great time, the apartment was lovely and clean on arrival and we had everything we needed. We used the pools lots and then straight out of the gate into the beach. Communication throughout was excellent and we would definitely stay again x

We (family of 3) spent 9 nights at the fantastic Down the Hill Cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Barbados. Liz was incredibly helpful answering all our questions about the Villa and the area as well as providing us with lots of local contacts for excursions. The Villa was just a dream.....amazing pool, outdoor lounging areas, lovely gardens and everything you need inside. It's 5 mins walk to Holetown Beach which is stunning and the Holetown area was lovely too, so much so we didn't venture that far. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Liz (and Little Lex) for giving us the dream holiday we were after.

Lovely property just as described 5 minute walk to lonestar Beach, 15 minute walk to Holetown , Bus stop located 2 minute walk Located on highway but heard no noise from traffic Ideal for those wanting a location away from main areas but easy enough to get to get everywhere using local buses Had few issues with keypad entry but the vendor was straight on the phone when neededHighly recommend

The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed. It's perfectly quiet, yet within a few minutes walk of everything we needed.

Property located in quiet residential area, but within easy walking distance to beach & shops. It was clean, private & well-equipped - including a well-maintained swimming pool. We would most certainly recommend it - and stay here again !
