The property was great loved the location plenty of walking areas for my dog near the train station so a quick commute into Newcastle plenty of places to shop near the beach we had a great time at this property I would happily recommend booking here a big thank you to Anne
Bella's beach house is centrally located, close to the town centre and beach front. 5 minutes walk from the Spanish City. The house was set-up with 4 double bedrooms, lounge/diningroom, kitchen, garage with washing facilities and access to a third w/c from the landscaped garden. Garden was in the sun's path from late morning to late evening. All the required equipment and products are supplied in the home, which was a welcomed surprise on arrival. In terms of location, we felt extremely safe in the home and in the surrounding area. Driveway for car, off the street. Late night walks along the promenade were a great way to end a day of exploration - miles of beautiful white sands and turquoise blue water. We took the opportunity to swim in the sea. There is also a local indoor pool facility right next door - brilliant for kids. Park View shops and eateries are worth visiting. #lovewhitleybay!
Anchor cottage is without doubt one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. From our arrival we just fell in love with this property
Anchor cottage is situated in the small village of Cresswell nd has superb views over the bay from the kitchen. The lounge window overlooks Peel tower and fields. Upon arrival we were greeted with a home made chocolate cake and flowers, which were a wonderful treat. Luckily the owners Nigel and Jane were staying next door and were very helpful in recommending walks in the area and also where to eat, which we took full advantage of. There is also very detailed information within the cottage along with maps, books and dvds.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and is much bigger than it looks in the pictures.
If you like peace and quiet, and walking this property is for you. Will be returning without a doubt.
Superb property in a great location overlooking the sea. Really clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The private parking space was essential due to lack of parking in the vicinity. It is secure parking and it’s really easy to access the property directly from parking area.
Highly recommended.
Really nice place. Had no trouble parking in nearby bays. 2 minutes walk to coast. Nice coffee place nearby (Coffee Culture). Good amount of all the essentials (cutlery etc.). Internet connection was good and wall mounted TV allowed us to plug in our own devices (Fire Stick with all streaming logins / steam deck). Highly recommend.
