Duck Key beach rentals

We had an absolute amazing stay at this accommodation. The host was really 1st class and always checked to see if we were ok which we thought was lovely. The home had everything and more. We have no faults at all and would definitely stay again. Thankyou Cameron for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had such an amazing chilled time. Perfect location too. We were all so sad to leave. But we have made some magical memories. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our short stay here and the place was very clean and as listed. Small issue with the aircon that was swiftly sorted once we contacted the owner.

Returned to Duck Key after 14 years and memories came flooding back

Thank you so much for our home from home vacation in your wonderful rental. The beach access at Glunz was delightful; it really gave our whole time hear another fantastic dimension. Thank you for providing that for us. It’s in an idyllic spot on key colony. Quiet, and has a lovely array of neighbours. The properties next door are owned and on the other side one is a holiday let. The clientele tend to be couples due to the sizes of the properties; so you don’t have to worry about having a big party house next door. There’s everything you need in this house, it’s all taken care of. Although there isn’t a kettle so I had to boil water in a pan. There is a coffee machine though. We were lucky enough to see a manatee. Favourite local dining spots are Havana jacks for happy hour and further afield Key Fisheries and the Island restaurant not far from the petrol station where you turn in to key Colony. Can’t wait to return and to recommend your little gem to friends.

We had an amazing week here. Very comfortable house with well equipped kitchen and fabulous views from every room. We ate outside on terrace every day, mesmerised by the sea view and passing boats. Watched sunsets each day with a cocktail. We lazed by the pool and read most days. Great meals at Sparks and Island Fish. Can't wait to come back!

Our stay was memorable. Hour drive to key west wasn’t bad at all. It was a great experience. Could have used extra blankets or sheets, we are usually staying in hotels and dump the comforter right off the bat so would never use it as a blanket, to hard to wash.

After a week in Orlando "doing" the parks we were looking forward to a relaxing week, and we found the perfect place for that here. Key Colony Beach is a lovely little community off US1 in Marathon, ideally located in the Middle Keys, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Within 5 minutes walk of the condo are 3 restaurants including the excellent Sparky's and Key Colony Inn, and there are loads of other great places in Marathon itself. The complex that the condo is in is fantastic - every morning we would walk down the stairs and make the choice - laze by the pool or sit on the beach? As the pool is at the bottom of the stairs and the beach is about 10 steps further on, we usually spent time moving between the two, depending on whether we wanted to relax or wanted to snorkel or watch the iguanas! The condo itself is very spacious and comfortable - there is a large and comfortable master bedroom with a huge double bed, plenty of cupboard/drawer space and an en suite bath/shower room. There is also a balcony for sitting out and relaxing. The second bedroom has 2 large single beds, and again plenty of storage space. It's next to a family bathroom with bath/shower. The rest of the condo is a large kitchen and living area, with breakfast bar, fridge freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher in the kitchen, and sofas, chairs and large screen tv in the living area. There was more than enough space for my family (2 adults, 2 teenagers), and the Netflix was appreciated. We met loads of really lovely people during our week in KCB, many of whom are frequent visitors to this particular complex. We even met a couple who normally stay in this exact condo and who were very interested to see who had beaten them to it this year! Having stayed here, we can fully appreciate why people choose to return time after time - it really is a beautiful spot in the Keys and absolutely perfect for a relaxing vacation. We found Michael very helpful and easy to deal with, and his condo a great place to stay. Thanks Michael - we will be joining the list of people who return to KCB!
