Holiday rentals near Puentes Colgantes del Arenal

Wonderful property with jungle outlook. It’s a bit off the tourist track and a 15 minute journey on a gravel road to get there but that’s what we liked about it. Views from the balcony are gorgeous and a lovely place to sit and watch the birds.The bird life is amazing. Kids loved the pool and slide. The jacuzzi is wonderful! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve ever had. You don’t need air conditioning as it’s nice a cool and there are fans if you need. Michael (the host) is brilliant, helpful with tips and ideas - all of his suggested were brilliant- and accommodating. Hanging bridges, waterfall, free hot springs, and paid hot springs, hiking round volcano or just chilling at the property were all amazing. We had a truly incredible stay at this property. Would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

We stayed here in August '23 and it is really special. The property is about 3 acres, it has a hot-tub and a firepit and has it's own nature walk down to a swimming hole. The house is well equipped, A/C, good shower, and a spectacular view. Pablo is a great host. He was really friendly and the little details he had added (like a basket of fruit and fresh coffee) made it very welcoming. It's a great location to explore the Arenal area - the waterfall is definitely worth a visit (even with the 500 steps back up.) La Fortuna is close and has some great places to eat and stock up on supplies. Definitely worth visiting 'El Nido' which is within walking distance and has views of Arenal, a giant swing and we saw lots of Toucans! The last 2 KM of road to get here is not in great shape, although there is a plan to have it fixed. We had rented a 4x4 for the trip, and we were glad we did. But this place is definitely worth it.
