Loches cottages

What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!

A nice property with exceptional grounds and swimming pool, all very well maintained. We had a couple of small issues with some things inside the property but these were swiftly dealt with by the owners who live within the same complex. Location-wise, the property is about 45 minutes to the River Loire and most of its chateaux - not perfect but not too far to be a chore. Other than that, the surrounding location is most tranquil with only the occasional passing car or tractor.

Fantastic location, part of the historical area. Ideal for walking into town. The facilities had everything you needed (except an oven, had a worktop one). The owners are fantastic, good English spoken, very helpful, left you alone so very private. Great views from the Gite. If you want English TV it is all in French, but take DVDs. The bathroom is very clean, great shower. The bedroom is spacious and you could have 4 people stay. Very quiet as the road is a dead end so no traffic. It is the sort of place you would want to go back to. We certainly will be. Less than 3 minutes into the town with plenty of restaurants and bars The market is great for food.
