Perfect Gite

Everything was perfect. The gite was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. It was also quiet. The main bedroom has loads of storage space and an extremely comfortable bed.The pretty garden led to the small river.Shops and restaurants are just 5 mintes walk. We visited many chateaux and had a relaxing few days.The gite is also a Gite de France.

Lovely escape to the country

Much bigger inside than the photos suggest. Very comfortable and spacious. Pool was delightful and location excellent. Chaumont sur Loire itself had lots to offer including access to Loire, bars and restaurants. Really enjoyable holiday for all the family

Perfect cottage in the Loire

We really enjoyed our stay in Fontaines-en-Sologne. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need and also has a barn area with a table tennis table, badminton and boules which we enjoyed playing. The gite is in a really peaceful location but it is close enough to the village and attractions. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Chambord natural swimming pool so would highly recommend this on a hot day. We also visited Beauval Zoo and Cheverny Chateau which were both excellent. Both Mme Louchard and Marie Claude were very welcoming and were easy to communicate with. We would definitely return!

Perfect location for visiting Château

The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed with plenty of information about local places to visit. Beautifully renovated cottage in a great location

We stayed at this excellent cottage for one week with our older teenage daughters. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and more than enough for 6-8 people. The property is beautifully renovated and everything is provided that you could want. Even a couple of bikes to pop to the boulangerie in the morning. The cottage has no neighbouring properties for several hundred meters, so you were not disturbed at all. The location is great for exploring the region and taking walks through the country. Chambord is only 10 mins away by car and is a must visit. The pool was excellent. Very clean and ideal temperature and we used it a lot to relax and unwind. I recommend this rental to anyone wanting to explore the region and recommend our hosts, Melanie and Pierre very highly who were very diligent and helpful to make sure everything was as it should be.
