Le Lavandou cottages

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks staying in this idyllic cottage. The photos that have been posted don't do it justice! The owner Bruno and his father Christoph are very accommodating and are available to answer any questions. With regards to The pool, it is available to use between the hours of 11am and 8pm . And whenever we wanted to go in it we were left in peace but we wouldn't have minded if the owners wànted to use it too. The cottage is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and oven. The only negative I would say is that there should be a bug net at the front door as the mosquitoes are lethal and because of this we had to keep the door shut at all times otherwise they would get in, which they did and 3 bottles of jungle formula later and still got bitten! There is a net at the bedroom window and bathroom window too. The town is a 20 minute walk down hill which we walked on a number of occasions, but take a torch if walking back at night as is pitch black! It has lovely restaurants and bars, a lovely town square with a fresh water fountain which apparently turns to wine on the 15th August for one day! and a little supermarket but the nearest big supermarket is in Pierrefue which is only 10 minute drive away. Bruno has a lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback dog called Nimba who after a couple of barks and tentative sniffs came to see us almost every day . He is absolutely gorgeous. A group of friends attending Porsche Paradise stayed in this wonderful property. Well-appointed, clean and very quiet house. Would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay in Bormes Les Mimosas! Barry and Annie were there to meet us on arrival to their fabulous medieval cottage. The cottage was presented in immaculate condition with great instructions on how to use all the facilities. The cottage really is in the heart of the old village with many fantastic restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Parking is available a very short walk (3/4mins) away for overnight although you can park at the property to load and unload, it is permit parking for residents in the very centre of the village. If you are looking for a calm and tranquil village stay I can highly recommend this magical cottage.

Our stay was near perfect. The location was everything we wanted. As my partner has stayed in this area before he knew where to look for a quiet and peaceful stay. This location is perfect at it is 5 minutes from the main town and about 30 minutes away from other sites. Joanne and Lenny were amazing hosts. Super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back again.

This is our second holiday here at this property - it is perfect in every way. The beautiful pool is set in landscaped gardens behind a gate looking out onto vineyards- so peaceful. Ideal location with only ten minutes drive to lots of stunning beaches, hill top villages and for a little more life St Tropez. Wonderful kind hosts. Thank you!
