The property was as beautiful as we had hoped, perfect for 2 people, with outdoor space for eating and relaxing.
Everything was clean and fresh and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We arrived to some welcoming gifts, which was a lovely touch.
We enjoyed visiting some interesting villages as well as the beautiful coastline. All in all a perfect stay!
The location was ideal for us. There were plenty of places to explore that were beautiful and within easy reach. The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed for a month and were able to mix business and pleasure very well.
Superb clean and well equipped house in semi rural location. Excellent air conditioning and jacuzzi and pool to keep us cool. Location is in a quiet village with small shop and excellent boulangerie. Hire car was vital to explore the surrounding area. Numerous books and tourist pamphlets in the house for reference and inspiration! Owners closeby for assistance if required but unobtrusive... house feels private and secure. We visited rural villages,saw the lavender fields and explored the coast from st tropez to Marseille....we went to zoo barben also... fantastic base with very helpful and friendly hosts..thank you!
We have just had the most amazing holiday. Thank you Nadine & Rodolphe for the beautiful apartment. We loved sunning ourselves on the patio which receives sun all day as well as very well shaded for the younger member of our family.
We love exploring and this part of France it is so beautiful. Through passing conversations with the very approachable Nadine and Rodolphe, who have extensive knowledge of the most exquisite places to visit in the area, we had a brilliant stay.
We are very blessed to have shared our time in France with these to wonderful people who made us feel like family.
The cottage is tastefully decorated and nicely placed for a quiet break. Unfortunately, a few things irked us. These are as much HomeAway's fault, as the proprietors;
The fifty euro, non-refundable, cleaning fee is not explicitly mentioned in the breakdown of the costs and the five hundred euro cash security deposit is a pain, as we then have to change it back to GBP (why this can not be taken/refunded on the card that was used to book, we never understood)
Other annoyances include the lack of a few simple provisions in the kitchen, salt/pepper/oil, would have been of far greater use than a basket of sweets. The WiFi rarely worked, which is essential with the network coverage being so weak. A bit more clarity/information on the surrounding sites/restaurants would have been nice, rather than one scruffy bit of paper
We loved our stay at Mas du Galantine. It was a really charming place to stay in a really lovely area. We had everything we needed there and in the area, and the host was very easy to communicate with. I would thoroughly recommend it and can see why people return - as we hope to do as well.
