Evia cottages

It’s our third time in this villa. Wonderfully remote but still accessible to all you need. A great pool, all facilities you could want, good and reliable air con. The perfect villa for a family of 3 or 4. We had five in it and that was fine too - but it meant 3 kids sharing. I suspect we will return.

Very welcome hosts to a lovely simple cottage with great veranda overlooking bay of Karystos. Cottage is well situated for exploring south of Euboea.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa which was aptly named ‘Fariytale’. The view was really fantastic and possibly the best we have ever seen with stunning sunsets in the evening. The house is decorated to a good standard and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool was perfect and completely private with no properties to overlook you. Local taverners were excellent and there is even a little supermarket not far in the village. If you don’t mind a drive there are beaches close and more tavernas. All in all it was ideal for us and our family although it may not suit small children. If I was going to offer any other feedback it would just be to say a parasol or two would have been helpful. There is a large beautiful tree that gives plenty of shade but occasionally it would have been nice to sit elsewhere in the grounds but that would be the only thing. Other than that is was a fabulous place to stay.

Very nice and quiet place close to the sea. The house is well equipped with anything you need in both apartments. We had a problem with one of the A/C. This was solved as soon as possible. Thank you Dimitra for our enjoyable stay in your house!

Myself and my three children stayed eight nights at Alonia Cottage in the lovely village of Vrisi during the last week of July 24. We couldn't have asked for better. The cottage was immaculate and fully equipped with A/C, Wifi and everything you could possibly require during your stay. There is a little shop just around the corner and a couple of popular Tavernas within a three minute walk. We visited the beautiful, quiet Mourteri beach most days which is about a fifteen minute drive, but there are several others up towards Kymi which are also nice and all within half an hour. I believe the area is also good for rock climbing and walking. Obviously a vehicle is required if you want to get about Evia. Finally, Maria and her brother and mum who run the property are lovely, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and we couldn't have wished for better. Efcharisto poli!
