Province of Bari cottages

We had a fantastic family holiday in a beautiful truli near Cisternino. The location was idyllic, and the truli had everything we required including a large private pool. The place was ideal for a family of 6-8 with plenty of space. The property manager was extremely helpful and provided lots of information on the local area - restaurants, beaches and markets. Overall we had a fantastic holiday, one we all really enjoyed and we would throughly recommend the truli and area to anyone.

The trullo was beautiful, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well located to explore the area from a remote and quiet base (as long as you have a car). Great communication and responsiveness from the host.

A stunning and beautifully furnished property in a secluded location. We stayed as two families, nine in total and the house was plenty spacious enough for us all. The outdoor areas were great for relaxing and we made good use of the barbeque area. You definitely need a car as the property is remote but this meant that we didn't have to worry about noise with small children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the Puglia region.

Since the booking process the communication was amazing, Nina helped with all information we need about location, car rental .... Angellita did our check in , show us everything about the house , sorted our first evening meal ( the food was delicious) , she made everything easy. The trulli was very clean , great location , the size was amazing, great pool and beautiful sunsets. Definitely recommended. Thank you , Simone Mckenzie

I've just reread the property description. The only thing we didn't verify was the beauty of the local beaches but everything else is spot on. We arrived very late (thanks BA!) so with hindsight we should have opted for the bread/milk etc welcome pack but we couldn't have been happier with the property or the support from the owner and the local agents. The nearest towns are all beautiful and we travelled down to Lecce, Gallipoli and Matera in our Cinquecento rental. A good choice as it happens, the last bit of the journey from SP16 to the property comprising narrow track (a bit like some Cornish single track roads). We adopted the nearby Cucina Michio as our local (10 minutes away) pizza restaurant. Without a booking we got a takeaway on our first visit and enjoyed pizza and a bottle of their excellent Primitivo back at the Trullo. There's an excellent Mozzarella experience to be had at a Masseria near Ostuni, too. Only 15 minutes away. We loved our stay at Casa Adriatica.

Pretty and rustic, the villa has a really good pool ( bigger IRL than it looked online ) and lovely grounds. There is a very narrow road you have to negotiate which was hard in our rather large hire car. No scrapes but it was a bit tricky. The property is out in the countryside so you have to drive to get anywhere. The local town is Castellana del Grotte which is a nice town and has everything you need. It’s about 30 mins pretty drive to any beach. The villa inside is charming but very small kitchen and ants are a problem. You have to be scrupulous about cleaning up. Outside, mosquitoes are a problem so we had to spray ourselves thoroughly. The communication with the villa owners was absolutely fine, and they were very fast and responsive when the electricity went down one night. I would recommend the property as long as you’re OK with being out in the countryside and you expect mosquitoes.
