Sovicille cottages

We had a gorgeous 5 night stay in the ‘suite indipendant’which was … Clean Loads of room. Cool (air conditioning upstairs and a fan in kitchen) Lovely bathroom Hot shower. The gardens and pool were lovely, very clean and lots of choice and room to eat outside. The host and her family (and gorgeous dog and cat) were lovely and On hand if need be for advice or help). We could not fault the place for the money spent. Had it be my business only thing I would change is to supply a little more than basic utensils for the kitchen. The place sleeps 4. We like to cook some days whilst on holiday so if you are planning to do the same I’ve just put a few little tips below that some may find useful. No Sharp knife (chopping and bread knife) My husband always brings his own (he’s the chef 😂) - we would have had to buy had he not as the utensils and knife supplied were shocking) you need a knife to cook! There are glasses .. but only tiny tiny ones and 2 wine glasses (so if you want a beer or g&t there’s no glasses for those) It’s not a pool holiday as you are there to see beautiful Tuscany but we did have a day chilling by pool. There are no cushions on sunbeds apart from 3. So uncomfortable for more than an hour. And felt sooooo uneasy about taking glass to the pool area … so will always be packing plastic from now on. That’s it! We had a fab 5 days … loved it xx

Maria and Mario are the perfect hosts. The property is located near the hilltop village of Belforte .it overlooks the Tuscan hills and is an ideal location to relax. You maybe lucky to see wild deer and boar.there are many hiking routes nearby through the forests.the property is spotlessly clean and has all that you require. This was our second visit and we will go again

Lovely property - photos don't do the size of it justice. Very comfortable and suitably equiped.Great pool and outdoor space.Hosts extremely helpful.Good location for sightseeing around Tuscany if you are happy driving.

A great location to explore south Tuscany. Host ideas for trips spot on. A great little cottage to return to in the evening. Sitting out under the shelter looking out over the vines. We had a very relaxing holiday.Thank you

Just returned from a one week stay and cannot praise it enough. Frederica and her family were so friendly and could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Really enjoyed the Cooking Lesson and would recommend it for a fun and interesting break fro those superb panoramic views of the rolling countryside. We also really enjoyed our visits to the small hilltop villages that are just a short drive away from the property. We will return!

Wonderful location, fine old country house set in a beautiful park surrounded by open fields, well situated for visiting the sights, delightful neighbours and a warm welcome

Thank you Letizia for a lovely two days. The flat is comfortable, tidy and well equipped. The location is peaceful. The road to get to the house is a little bumpy but worth it once you get there. Letizia is friendly and very kind and helpful. Our dog loved his time playing with the other dogs. Grazie mille Letizia
