Settle cottages

I had a worry that the cottage might be a little small but we had loads of room due to the layout being over three floors. The decor was smart and we had everythign we needed. It was very hot the day we arrived so it was particularly good to have the lounge in the basement. A few little niggles, none of them dealbreakers. There was a lot of noise from the pub at the back on Saturday night, which was annoying. While everything was very clean, the towels smelled a little musty. Parking was a little challenging but we had been given information about alternatives, which was fair enough.

Very enjoyable stay. Extremely clean and well kept property. Ceilings are very low in places but we knew this before booking. Great location. Would stay again.

Stunning house in perfect location with walks in every direction that seemed our own private kingdom! The raised garden at sunset was unbelievable and the friendliness of the house for our group was perfect. Kitchen had every conceivable need and was the social centre of the house.

Great communication from Kate, the cottage is so pretty and clean. Perfect location for walking.

Amazing place

Whitefriars exceeded all our expectations - it is so well laid out, we loved the number of bathrooms, the spacious rooms and living space and it was spotlessly clean. We would definite recommend here. We booked because of the proximity to Horton-in-Ribblesdale as we were doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Thank you so much to James and Sue for sharing your beautiful home.

Small but perfectly formed, just a beautiful cosy little cottage in a gorgeous village, everything you need to enjoy your stay, the kitchen was well provided with utensils, cooker, microwave washer etc, the lounge was cosy with tv & wifi, door to small yard, in summer will be lovely to sit out! Parking a bit tight (our car quite big)but we knew this before we went, so made use of village carpark 2mins walk away,after dropping cases off! Will definitely go again! Loved it!

Lovely large Property with all equipment/facilities for a great stay. Within good distance from all popular attractions and villages. Nice walks from the property. Would have been nice for a small area of the garden to have been enclosed for dogs. But likewise this didn't detract from our great stay.
