Braemar cottages

We stayed at Mar Lodge in November 2024 and had the most amazing stay. A huge shout out to Housekeeping as the Apartment was absolutely spotless. So much did we enjoy our stay that instead of going to the South of France June 2025, we are coming back to Braemar. Thank you so much. One little thing I would say i ms that had a pen been left with the guest book, we would have left an amazing . Thank you again for making our stay very special x review. Maybe check the bulbs too.

Beautiful setting. Very spacious accommodation. Fantastic setting. Great for outdoor activities and sight seeing.

The property is basic, but well maintained and presented, and just about perfect for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in nature and peace and quiet. Inverie is the quintessential location for the upper Dee and into the mountains. It's maybe worth commenting that some of the furniture and kitchen gear could do with a refresh, but, as I say, it's perfect for the walker or naturalist. Location trumps quite a lot!

A lot of thought has gone into the layout. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Location on the edge of Braemar was stunning.
