The Hayloft was perfection! Perfect location to explore without driving, and with driving everything was so close. Really lovely and peaceful stay, just what we needed!

Cottage in owners georgous grounds with local pub at the end of the road (although we didn't go). Met by deers in the fields prancing.. and lovely sunsets.Warm and cosy with everything you would expect. Thought the air fryer was a good extra. Water flow off and on but Sandy gave us the heads up. Location suited us... between Romsey, Salisbury and Winchester. Would definitely stay again.

Communication with host was great. Quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Lodge was perfect and in a beautiful setting. Will definitely return!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Ayla and Mike are great hosts and were so helpful with their knowledge of the area. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. Beds were very comfortable and full marks for having curtains rather than the blinds 90% of holiday lets have, which do nothing to block out light for people who need a dark bedroom to sleep in. Highly recommended, would go again.

I greatly enjoyed my stay, the property was clean and well-kept and communication was swift. I was able to check in with relative ease, and several shops were also in convenient walking distance. The welcome package was a lovely addition, and the thoughtfulness of the host was appreciated. Overall the quality of the stay was excellent.

This was our third time at the property. Cannot fault anything. It just gets better. Maria, our host, was always on hand if we needed her and nothing was a problem. The cottage and gardens are stunning. We were visited by ponies and had a little foal running up the drive. Short walk to The Oak Inn which was also very good. We are already looking at dates to return and will many more times. Absolutely first class.
