Holiday rentals near Hallsenna Moor National Nature Reserve

Fantastic location with all amenities (except any kind of coffee maker). Maybe don't stay here if you have a low slung car . . . The only criticism we could make (apart from recycling etc - see below) is a lack of instructions (e.g. for the central heating, oven, towel rails) but the house maintenance chap was always around and helped quickly when asked. There seems to be no facility for recycling and it so much goes against todays norms to throw plastic, cardboard etc in the general garbage. We bagged up everything recyclable in the hope that there is some mechanism at the property to get such things recycled.

If you need a relaxing place to unwind from the stresses of life, you will struggle to find a better place than this. Within minutes of entering the cottage, we felt relaxed by the cottage & location alike. With sheep all around, the stream nearby and the incredible peaks around, it was a perfect place to spend a week. The log fire was the best part, making the home cozy and giving it a very homely feel. We could have stayed for a month and thanks to this beautiful cottage, have fallen in love with the lake district and already planning our next trip.

The stairs are very slippery when wet fell over & hurt my back had to call the owner
