Fabulous gite!

We had a wonderful couple of days and this truly adorable gite. Great location, fantastic amenities, stylish rustic decor, well stocked kitchen, lovely private terrace and fabulous pool area with a great view. Highly recommend!

A delight

This is a lovely little house with a splendid garden in a fantastically unspoilt corner of rural France. Look elsewhere if you want cafes, restaurants or shops. This is a lovely little village in gorgeous rural countryside close to the amazing Morvan national park and some lovely small towns. But you have to drive to the nearest shop. The owners are delightful and do everything they can for you (including in our case, giving us some delicious fish caught that morning). Note though that they live next door and the garden is in theory shared (though in practice we had it to ourselves). Absolutely clean, well equipped and comfortable. We couldn’t have hoped for more (and Hunter the dog loved it too). We had a lovely stay.

Very pleasant property

Excellent conversion to holiday property. Spotlessly clean. All facilities as on Vrbo website. Comfortable bed. We very much enjoyed our stay in the Burgundy countryside. The major reason for our stay was to research Romanesque and early French gothic and we were not disappointed.

Great spot to stay, clean rooms & friendly owners. Bedroom tighter than expected. Biggest issue was with Vrbo as had not sent request before staying for second payment / invoice & had not been paid, was rather embarrassing. Doubt if using again.

Review

A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families.
