Holiday rentals near Begard Golf

The gite was of a high standard with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was not a problem that the bathroom was down stairs.

The best gîte/cottage we have had in France, in 45 years of travelling there. It is modern, bright, cheerful, warm (when the weather is cooler), cool (when it is sunny), and well-equipped (kitchen, furniture, entertainment). And what a garden! Your own pink granite, great garden furniture, excellent planting. Good position - food shops (5 minutes), the beach (5 minutes), panoramic view of Trégastel (5 minutes), super U (5 minutes in the car). Paul and Martine were helpful and friendly; and have paid great attention to the detail of getting this right.

We had such a wonderful holiday in Yvias. Hervé and Béatrice were such accommodating hosts and nothing was too much. The house has been newly renovated to an excellent standard and is fully equipped with absolutely everything you might need. The garden is huge and safe and suited our four children perfectly. The location was great. Paimpol is very near and there is good access to a spectacular coast line. We had a super meal out on our last night at ´l’Astrolabe’ in Quemper Guezenec too, which is very close to Yvias. We would like to wish the hosts all the best possible for their future endeavours. We had a lovely stay in this charming accommodation - everywhere was clean and had everything we needed. Our host, Gilbert was extremely kind and very helpful when we had a problem with our car. The area is stunning and we are planning to return. The location of the accommodation is perfect for walking and exploring and just a few steps to the lovely beach. Highly recommended.

We like the area, very relaxing and lots of things to do for a family. The property is a great base, simple , good WiFi, Netflix and modern.

We stayed for one week in this small but perfectly formed little apartment right next to the beach. The place was very clean and well equipped, the owners are friendly, helpful and approachable. The location is fantastic. The apartment is perfect for a romantic get away, for a single parent or for a couple with one child. The beach is sandy, clean, with excellent water quality (checked twice a week and posted on a public billboard). At low tide the bay turns into a vast expanse of sand with a long stretch of warm, shallow water - perfect for small children. There is a surf school in the next door cove for older kids. Rookpools for crabbing abound on the edges of the bay, and you can 'fish on foot' finding cockels, pallordes, mussels and the occasional oysters. There are plenty of prawns and small fish swimming around the shallows, so a lot to keep younger children entertained and engaged with the natural world. The weekly market at Tregastel on Mondays is the biggest in the region and can be reached on foot. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of amazing, reasonably priced fresh seafood. Overall we had a fantastic time and would go back in a flash.

We were warmly welcomed by Anne to our holiday home. We were there just for three nights, but we're still given five star treatment. The gite was extremely tastefully decorated and yet still had a cosy feel to it. The log fire was much appreciated in the evening. The bed was king size and very comfortable. We have visited this part of France many times, yet still found new places to visit every day. My wife and I try to stay somewhere different each time, but we would certainly consider returning to Anne's gite for a longer stay. Genuinely a five star holiday for us. Mike and Gill Harris.
