Holiday rentals near Plage du Poulbert

L'accueil est chaleureux dans cette charmante maison. Celle-ci est soignée, en parfait état. Le jardin est vraiment un atout. Dans la salle de séjour (agrémentée de deux divans) se trouve une télé avec grand écran. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée et tous les ustensiles sont en excellente condition. A l'étage le lit est très bon et la salle de bain avec douche est très pratique. Ajoutons que dans le village tout est construit dans un même style (maisons de pierres) et les espaces communs sont abondamment fleuris. Il y règne un calme parfait. Great location, very comfortable house & M. Morice was an excellent host, very responsive. Our elderly dog accompanied us and it was a properly dog friendly stay, no fuss. (Younger dogs will love the fabulous walks in the surrounding area!!) There is something for everyone in the area, highly recommended.

Quiet, roomy, comfortable, well appointed ground floor singular apartment in a grand 3 story house with lots of outdoor space in rural surroundings. Lovely, coastal walking, great beaches and quiet lanes in easy reach. The towns of Plouharnel, Quibrunec and Carnac are all withinveasy reach. Laurence the propety manager is charming and very helpful. The pictures of this appartment are accurate but it is nicer than they portray. We had only one problem; a smelly shower drain.

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Carnac that would allow us to explore the area by bike whist avoiding the very busy roads in the area. It was everything we had hoped for and more. With a hybrid/off-road bike you can reach the extensive cycle network; there's a path through the woods that leaves from the back garden. Our hosts were amazing ( add to the Christmas Card list good) attentive and welcoming without being intrusive, very keen to offer help and advise when needed. As well as cycling there are some lovely places in the area you can explore the scenery from the water and Serge not only showed us a good place to launch our inflatable kayak but introduced us to his cousin who owns the slipway we wanted to use. There are an almost unbelievable amount of dolmens and megaliths in the area and it is a real adventure exploring the area and finding the truly amazing sites many of which are totally open with no restrictions at all, making the price paid for some of the more popular sites seem more worthwhile as they help to give more context to what you can see. The location was all we had hoped for but Serge & Chantell made it extra special, we can't thank them enough.
