A cozy quiet gite with views of the boats in the estuary. The kitchen was well equipped, and the seating and beds were comfortable.I really enjoyed the coastal footpaths which as just a couple of minutes away from the gite.It was also really nice to be able to sit and eat outside.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time here. The location is incredible. The house is delightful and has everything you could need and the delightful owners are very helpful and responsive. We hope to return!

The house is lovely with all you could want. Comfortable and well equipped. As the grandparents we ended up in the ground floor bedroom as my daughter and partner needed to be close to the kids bedrooms. Bit of a short straw as they got the nicest room but it was ok. I liked the en-suite shower very much. A toilet in the en-suite would have been better though. Trekking across the lounge in the middle of the night wasn’t great. The kids loved their rooms and were very comfortable. Location regards beaches and village was also good. It was super quiet everywhere when we were there in June. Lots of places were closed until mid afternoon or not open til July. Also found not much for kids to do on non-sunny days I.e. in the surrounding area. There’s a playground but nothing else. The cafe with bouncy castles was closed more than it was open. I’m assuming post COVID ? Everyone still getting back to normal maybe? We only got to the Kerou beach on the last day. Wish we’d found it before as its beautiful- particularly over the far side when the tide is out. We walked over the cliff top and it was easy. No cafes there tho for a coffee. All in all a lovely house and a nice area but be prepared for it being quiet.

It has all been said before! We love Brittany and this is an amazing property in an absolutely fabulous setting. Plenty of walking and cycling from the door, a short wander into Port Doelan (a fabulous meal was had at Les Trois Mats - although this is probably a good 30/40 minute walk from the property as it is on the other side of the river) and close proximity to Pont Aven, Concarneau and, one of our favourites, Quimperle. The weather didn't lend itself to a beach day but we know that there a plenty of sandy beaches to access locally by car. The coastal path walks from the property gave access to small coves which were not only beautiful, but also offered the opportunity for a swim. Le Pouldu is a short cycle away with an opportunity to partake in the local Cidre or options for meals. The house is one of the best we have stayed in, with panoramic views of the coast, very comfortable beds and furnishings and a kitchen that is well equipped, with everything you could need. The games room, hot tub and sauna were all added bonuses and the garage space provided ample room to store all six bikes taken and the bike carriers too. Thank you for the use of your beautiful house; we had a fantastic family holiday.

We arrived at the location amd were just blown away by the setting, the closeness to the sea, the infinite horizon and how incredibly accessible it was. Also for someone like myself who has mild knee arthritis. Elisabeth (our host and owner) was very friendly, welcoming and easy to get to know. She was very kind and helpful with any questions or enquiries we had. The place was immaculately clean and spacious and everything was well thought out and the kitchen was perfectly set up for as little or as much cookung as one wishes. The back terrace and the view from it was the pièce de résistance!!! Just magical. The photos for this location are completely accurate. We will definitely come back again.
