Rural Retreat

La Fermette is a charming old farmhouse in a nice quiet village. We used it as a central base to tour WW1 sites up to Ypres in Belgium and down to Arras and the Somme area. We also had a lovely couple of trips to the coast. The house is spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We went out a lot because we were very lucky and had a lovely sunny week in the middle of September. Jo responded quickly when we had a small problem with the heating and it was soon resolved. Thanks for a lovely week.

April 2024 get away

The apartment is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooks a peaceful wooded area in front of the golf course. Ideal location for access to the course and friendly club house, which serves good food. The town is walkable although you’d need a car if you are planning a shop. We would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely area and farmhouse. It was spacious and well equipped. We had a brilliant holiday. Suggestions, electrical appliances need English instructions and we did not use washing machine as it was very small. Overall fantastic holiday.

Lovely stay in Le Touquet

We needed a large house to accommodate 3 families and this did not disappoint. House is bright and airy, very comfortable for 10 people. Lovely gardens to the back and front. Located between Etaples and Le Touquet, a car is needed to explore the area although we did walk back from Le Touquet once on the road that cuts through the forest. The host, Anthony, was very accommodating, quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this property for a large group or family.
