Éclusier-Vaux holiday lettings

This is the second time we have brought friends and stayed at The Cottage. It is ideally placed for visiting the WW1 battlefields and Albert. It was very clean, warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Anne is a very good host, was ready to help with our stay and without hesitation, I recommend this property.

All good but a bit of a shock when charged rather a LOT for electricity when leaving as hadn't

We had to find a property at a minute’s notice due to unforeseen circumstances. This could not have been better for our needs. The owners were welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. We had two 20 month girls and it was a great place for them. The toys and games in the property were fantastic. The village and villagers couldn’t have been more welcoming for the girls, on our walks they would go out of their way to show us the farm animals, horses and anything that took their interest. A great area for walks and cycling, unfortunately the weather wasn’t great. If you’re into 1st World War this is a really interesting area. There is a great play park in Perone for small children.

Large, comfortable, well appointed property. Helpful, friendly hosts. Great location for visiting the Somme region

We used this property as a base for exploring some of the WW1 Somme battlefields which worked very well. The property is on the bank of the Somme itself and was on the frontline in 1916. Francois, the property owner, was very responsive and helpful with queries. Note that the property is in a small village and a short drive from the nearest restaurants and shops.

I have just come back from a wonderful short stay in Albert France. The apartment in a lovely secure location in Albert along with the lady herself Anne helped in no small way to make my holiday the success it was she is a very special lady.Thank you Anne.
