The villa looks great in the pictures but it’s even better in person.Beautiful inside and out. The pool area is great, and the covered outdoor dining space it beautiful. One of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in and the villa owners/ managers on hand were great. Location is good for the town (although the town is limited) but the views gardens and isolation of the villa is great. Would 100% stay here again

This modern villa is spotlessly clean throughout with panoramic views in every direction. Even from inside the Villa the view through the windows changes each day like a living painting. It’s spectacular. The grounds are completely enclosed and child friendly with plenty of space for kids to play and adults to chill. The gardens are very well maintained and watered, if you’re from the UK think of a national trust garden with Mediterranean plants. It is also very well lit in the evenings with the BBQ dining area overlooking the top half of Crete (not exaggerating) being one of the gardens hi-lights.The Villa feels secluded in it’s own hillside setting but is at most a 7 minute drive back down to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. So on those sweltering afternoons where the heat of the coast is getting too much, in 10 minutes you can be in your own gorgeous pool with a mountain breeze. Perfect!Eleni deserves her own 5* review but I’m running out of space! A flawless host who is kind, caring, quick to respond to any messages and super friendly. Thank you Eleni! There are no downsides, the beds are comfy, the pool is sparkling, the garden is stunning, the water pressure is great, the wifi is fast, I could go on and on.Stop searching now and book this place, you wont regret it and you’ll never want to leave.Thank you so much! Villa Daphne had everything we needed, it was immaculately clean, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Our host Eleni was welcoming and very kind. There were lots of additional things that made for an extremely comfortable stay; from plenty of dishwasher tablets, clean tea towels and table cloths, pool/beach towels, a 1st aid kit (fortunately not used), to shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. There was also a selection of food provided, Raki to drink and the kitchen had a wide range of appliances. The little pool, sun beds and views of the sea were also a bonus!

We had a great stay! The villa is beautifully decorated, very clean & homely. It is nicely located in the middle of the village, so very easy to pop in & get supplies but also very quiet & private. The hosts are very attentive & helpful! The homemade goodies are delicious thank you! It is easy to drive or catch a bus into the main town. The house is fully kitted out with everything needed. My only suggestion would be for more storage in the bedrooms for clothes.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in July. The cottage is thoughtfully designed, finished to a high standard, and well equipped (sharp kitchen knives are always a mark of quality!). Even during the unprecedented temperatures, we kept cool inside the stone walls under the ceiling fans, and outside in the numerous shaded sitting spots in the lovely garden. I managed a full week of remote working (comfortable table/chairs, convenient power, and reliable WiFi). Johanna was a great host - meeting us on arrival, with lots of great local recommendations, and reliably available by phone. We were also welcomed with a well stocked fridge, which was very kind. Daily visits from the friendly cats and dogs were great, but otherwise the house, garden and roof all felt private and peaceful. The house is in a semi-rural area but is well situated for exploring this part of the island. Highly recommended.
