Holiday rentals near Moutsouna Beach

My partner and I moved from busy accommodation on the other side of the island in search of peace and quiet, we found it at Azalas cottages. Astrid and Nikos are very warm and welcoming hosts, the oven warm loaf of bread and homemade wine was an immediate sign of their dedication to ensuring their guests enjoy their stay. We are already planning to visit next year and enjoy our private cove..

My wife and I stayed two weeks at Astrid's little cottage, which is one of four. Astrid and her husband kindly gave us plenty of vegetables, bread and fruit throughout our stay. They even hosted a fabulous dinner of goat and potatoes with lovely salads, wine and raki, all from the farm! Astrid is a highly recommended local historian of Naxos, and she gave my wife and I a lesson in the island's history during the archaic and classical period. I'd highly recommend the cottage. Very close to the sea and in a quiet part of the island.

We stayed in early june. The villa is fine for 2- the sea is very clise- you can swim off the rocks in a few minutes walk. You are near Moutsouba 5 mins by car. It hss a couple of tavernss- very quiet in June. The host gave us wine and amazing bread, as well as veg from the organic garden. If you want to escape- its the place.

Lovely place to stay if you're looking for a peaceful location. Well equipped and comfortable house. Floros is a very generous host - we've never experienced such a well stocked fridge plus other groceries! Floros' wife's homemade apricot jam was a particular highlight!

The villa is in a beautiful area of the Island about 5miles north of Naxos. The views from the balconies looking towards village and the coast are fantastic with great sunsets each night. The pool area is really pretty and is surrounded by a lovely garden full of wonderful sculptures produced by Max. The viila itself is spacious and bright and has everything you need and if there is something you might need Anna said just ask. (We didn’t). It’s a great place to explore the Island from and see some of the not heavily frequented tourists beaches. As for our hosts Anna and Max they made us extremely welcome and friendly and it was lovely having our brief chats. If your used to getting a villa and a car and exploring this is a great villa for its location, amenities and Max and Anna who are wornderful hosts.
