Holiday rentals near Polilimnio Waterfalls

Wonderful holiday home, just 5 mins to the beach with beautiful views of the sea and The Taygetos mts. The house is very spacious, with a fab terrace and is very well equipped and comfortable. Excellent communication with Evgenios and Machi.

Excellent host, property, and location to explore lots of area...something for everyone. Privacy was always respected and the house was very clean and well equipped. Sonia is an excellent host with lots of information for you see/do in the area. Pool was fantastic as the Greece heatwave was too much to go exploring, some days, and was a nice way to keep cool and have some relaxing days in.

This villa met and surpassed our expectations. The views from the patio area are stunning and the swimming pool overlooks these and is always kept clean. There is everything here for a very comfortable stay and having the villa cleaned with clean sheets and towels changed regularly is appreciated very much. A car is needed if you want to explore the area and reach the supermarkets in Messini. From here, you can visit Ancient Messini, Olympia and the Palace of Nestor as well as the towns of Koroni, Methoni and Pylos. There are some lovely clean beaches nearby such as Agia Triada and further away at Voidokilia. We would not hesitate to stay at this villa again or recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore the Messenian area of the Peloponnese.

The location, garden and property delivered everything we’d hoped for. The host Niki could not had been more kind and helpful, providing us with fresh produce from the garden and eggs from her chickens. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more, including fresh herbs, olive oil, honey and jam. We received such a warm welcome with so much generous and kindness. The beautifully maintain garden was like paradise, with fruit trees and colourful flowers and several areas for sunbathing and eating outside. The prize aspect was the gate at the end of the garden to the beach and swimming in the warm water of the Messinian Gulf. A paddle board and sea kayak was all we needed for entertainment. The house is a short walk from Agios Andrea village with its small harbour, handful if restaurant ants, coffee shops and mini-markets.

We have just spent a delightfully relaxing week in Rosemarie and Vassilis's apartment. The apartment is scrupulously clean, bright and airy and in a wonderful location with all day sunshine and fabulous views. Rosemarie has put a lot of thought and effort into presenting the apartment at its best. She is a very generous host who wants her guests to really enjoy themselves. She has a great supply of guide books and handwritten notes available on places to visit and things to do, and restaurants to frequent. Thank you Rose and Vassilis

We had a wonderful holiday and found the house to be the perfect base for exploring the area by car. The house had everything we needed, with beautiful views in a secluded location. Mrs Anna and Mr Kostas were very welcoming, friendly and generous with their home produce. We particularly recommend the fresh figs which are delicious eaten straight off the tree but very good mixed with Greek yoghurt as well. There was lots of information on beaches, excursions and restaurants, which was very helpful. We especially loved the Polylimnio Waterfalls and Ancient Messini. Methoni Castle was also a highlight. The beaches are lovely and the whole area is peaceful and unspoilt. In summary, we heartily recommend this house and destination for those looking to enjoy a true Greek experience.
