Chalk Sound Drive houses

12 Palms was the perfect location to spend a week with our son, wife and 11 mos old son. Gorgeous view, beautiful pool and outdoor seating area, dock with lounge chairs which leads to the amazing beach area. We prefer this part of the island…private and quiet. Short walk to Taylor Bay Beach which isn’t as crowded as others…you can walk way out and it remains shallow…perfect for kids. The house was neat and organized …we found everything we needed. Johanna and crew were amazing…the house was spotless. She answered all my questions right away and even brought me 2 gallons of water for my grandsons formula when I was without a car. She is the best! A stay here is highly recommended! We’ll be back!

Outstanding location We loved our time at Coconut villa. The property was spacious and comfortable and met all our needs, a few additional items in the kitchen would have been good such as wine coolers - so that bottles of wine could stay cool on the table at lunch and dinner ,and trays for carrying drinks. The smaller bedrooms were very sparse, not even a lamp or side table - so only really good enough for children or people who are not high maintenance! More coat hangers would also be a welcome addition as the ones that were there were a rag taggle selection and simply not enough. The location of the villas was the stand out for all of our party. The beach is possibly one of the best we have ever seen, we shall miss that stunning view as well as the aquamarine water. We spent a few dollars at Conchy Conch bar - it’s good to give back to the community. Whatever you do hire a car big enough for your whole party - taxis are eye wateringly expensive , the most expensive I have encountered anywhere in the world! 10 people to go 7 miles cost us US$460 return Highly recommend this villa for large groups- we were 10 adults , we hardly left the beach or villa during our 2 weeks stay, we simply didn’t need to or what to ! Scott and Dana were very reactive and prompt, although we only requested a new gas bottle during the whole of our stay so hopefully we were not too much bother !

Chantal and David provided the best welcome arrival booklet we have ever received and sorted out any problems promptly and with ease. The house is beautiful, lovely furnishings, linens and very comfortable beds. Plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery and lots of plastic options for use around the pool. Fabulous beach chairs, pool floats, towels and snokels to use if needed. Two of the best beaches (in our opinion) are within walking distance of the house and great food at Las Brisas restaurant is only a 5 minute walk. Kayaking was amazing on Chalk Sound although the wind was very strong. Location is near to the industrial port and constant noise can be heard 24/7, also lots of building work in the vicinity including next to Las Brisas restaurant, thus unfortunately affecting the peace and tranquility we needed at the house. Overall it was a nice stay.
