This cottage is well equipped, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Its main asset is its location as it’s set in a very dramatic landscape a few minutes walk from the very beautiful Lake Inagh.Dolores is an excellent host - friendly, helpful and reassuringly at the end of a phone if needed.The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the local area withKylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, Achill Island and Innishbofin Island all within easy reach.We certainly plan to return there.

This is a property we have returned to again and again. Even in the bad weather, there is something magical about the views.

We really enjoyed our week at Stoneacre. The house has the most incredible view over the Killary Fjord. It's spacious and homely. The Connemara region was stunning. Thank you.

What a lovely time we had at such a beautiful location. Loved the stone-floored kitchen; the open sitting room; the chairs and table outside; the flora andf fauna around the cottage; the facilities; the ease of contact with Joe and Dolores. The internet connection was problematic but Joe and Dolores sent a note to explain the difficulty, a gesture that was much appreciated. We couldn't understand the instructions for the washing machine. Perhaps they could be clearer. Something about a pipe, which we couldn't find. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this delightful cottage in such a stunning setting.

A great property in an amazing location. The views from the conservatory are stunning, it makes a great place to sit and watch the Lough and mountain whatever the weather.
