This cottage is well equipped, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Its main asset is its location as it’s set in a very dramatic landscape a few minutes walk from the very beautiful Lake Inagh.Dolores is an excellent host - friendly, helpful and reassuringly at the end of a phone if needed.The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the local area withKylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, Achill Island and Innishbofin Island all within easy reach.We certainly plan to return there.

The location, position, views, the house inside and out, all magnificent. The welcome from all involved gave the feeling of staying at a friend’s house rather than a rental.The sun shone throughout our stay with amazing sunrises and sets but the setting would lend itself to all weather fine or foul.

The cottage was perfect for our first visit to Connemara. The accommodation was spacious, well presented and with everything that we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Debbie the owner lives adjacent to the cottage which made communication very easy and very help and assistance was to hand. This is a most attractive part of the Wild Atlantic coastline and well worth a visit. We will be back.

This cottage was an absolute dream. We arrived on a blowy evening and lit the woodburner in the cosy sitting room. In the morning we awoke to glorious views across a sparkling sea to the Connemara hills, with lambs hopping around the adjacent field. There are stunning walks straight out of the door, including to a beautiful cove just steps away. We felt like we were at the edge of the world, yet Letterfrack was conveniently close for shops and pubs. Communication was excellent and we had great local tips from Tim and Leanne. The worst thing about the cottage was having to leave at the end of our stay. If you are looking for a quiet get away, Tearmann Mary Cottage is a glorious choice.

Amazing everything we could have wished for and alot more on top short of nothing

Wonderful place to spend a holiday. House contains everything you could possibly need. Would definately recommend staying here. Liz is extremely responsive and a wonderful host. Thanks a lot. Absolutely magic
