Holiday rentals near K Club Golf Club

We stayed for two nights with a group of friends/co-workers. The cottage is fantastic , great indoor and outdoor communal spaces and a very well fitted kitchen. the host was really nice and helpful and even gave us some cake.

Had my trip just involved the usual type of stay, it would still have been memorable for the stunning location, the bonus of superb weather and all the many touches that Riaan and Cathy had provided for the visitor. The accommodation is absolutely perfect for a couple, a pair of friends (the bed unzips to turn into twin beds if necessary), a couple with a baby (facilities provided) and in my case, the solo traveller. There were all the amenities one could wish for - gas cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, iron, etc., etc., and tv which I didn't have time to use much. Lots of thoughtful goodies had been provided - smellies in the bathroom and all sorts of edibles, from porridge oats to milk, yoghurt, bread and the freshest possible eggs, laid only yards away, plus more besides.A very happy coincidence revealed that we were cousins too! I don't expect all future visitors to make this bonus discovery (although who knows?!). So where I come away with the regular traveller's glow of happiness at a wonderful stay, I also retain a sense of disbelief at the coincidence.For cousins and regular visitors alike, there is much more - tranquility and proximity to some of Ireland's finest scenery, walks and attractions. Oh, and for added security, there are electric gates.All bias aside, I stand by the veracity of every word above. Come and see for yourselves...

Location excellent

The most beautiful surroundings and views from here and the property was well laid out, comfortable and worked really well for our group of 6. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great and the wood burning stove was a lovely touch on chllly evenings. Communication was great and it was a great stay. I would highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay, this is a lovely property located near Straffan and within a few minutes drive of Clane, where there is a good selection of shops and restaurants. The property was nicely presented, clean and in a lovely setting. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Our host, Brain, was more than helpful, meeting us to show us around and being available for any questions. Highly recommended if you want somewhere away from the centre of Dublin. You can catch the train from Naas and be in the centre of Dublin within 30 minutes without any of the aggravation of driving and trying to park. Huge bonus. Our disappointment was with the customer service of Vrbo, first time we had used them and not a patch on the other booking sites. Struggled to get in touch with anybody when the website blocked us from communicating with our host and whilst we finally managed to get the contact we needed the whole experience caused us unnecessary stress and wasted time.

The cottage is in the grounds of the old rectory, next door to a similar cottage, but privacy is not an issue. It is clean comfortable and well equipped and ideal as a base to explore the area.

We were absolutely delighted with this charming cottage and our hosts Claudia and James were extremely welcoming. Their attention to detail was very impressive and they thought of everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The animals were an absolute delight to see in the morning and evenings when we came home. It's our dream retirement cottage! Thank you, most sincerely to Claudia and James.

This is a quiet group of cottages set around an old house near the village of Donard. It is of a very high standard with modern facilities and plenty of space; the owner is charming and informative. Very easy to get to Dublin: 40 mins to the Luas stop. Rewarding visits within an hour: Glendalough, Russborough, Wicklow Mountains etc. Donard has two lively bars and a shop; Blessington has a lot of shops. Roads are excellent - though very few cars - and it's 1:45 easy driving from Rosslare. Recommended.
