Holiday rentals near Creevykeel Court Tomb

Family of 5, house was clean, comfortable like home from home. Communication with host excellent. Close to shops and takeaways in local area. Just outside Bundoran and great base to travel to nearby beaches and further afield.

We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute.

8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! Jennifer was very helpful on arrival and was nearby and contactable for any issues. We would all recommend Hilltown as a great base for exploring County Donegal and Donegal town has good eating and is not far away. Only thing to note for future visitors is that 3 of the bedrooms dont have curtains or blinds so any light sleepers may wish to bring sleeping masks, particularly in the height of summer. We really enjoyed our stay at Alder cottage and cannot wait to return. We had everything we needed and check in with the lovely Mary was super easy. The area is very beautiful and the cottage itself felt like we were the only people for miles. The outdoor table tennis table was an absolute bonus!

A comfortable well equipped and spacious bungalow with outstanding views of Silgo Bay. The property was very clean, during our 3 weeks stay the the property was cleaned and bedlinen changed to cater for our family who stayed with us during the holiday. However, the one of the most important element of the holiday was the welcome and great times shown by the hosts Desmond and Mary. They kept the grandchildren entertained with tractor driving and feeding the bullocks. We would definitely stop at the property if we visited this part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Mike anbd Tina

The location of this property is amazing beautiful views from all windows. Well equipped we had everything we needed. We hope to be back to stay again.

I stayed at the property for three nights in June. The property is finished to a high specification and was comfortable. Although there isn't much to do in Collooney, it made for an excellent base for exploring the Sligo, Mayo and Donegal counties. Overall, I was really pleased with my stay and found the property to be good value for money. Would stay again if I was visiting the area. It was very clean/well presented. Couple of very minor suggestions/things to note- the en-suite could do with a blind as the neighbouring balcony could look straight in. As has been mentioned before, the curtains in the main bedroom are a bit thin, so if light disturbs your sleep, you would do well to sleep in one of the other bedrooms downstairs. I couldn't find a grill pan, so cooked my breakfasts in the frying pan. It might have been there somewhere - and this was such a minor issue I didn't contact the owner. The TV signal disappeared mid-way through the stay, but I couldn't work out how to get it back. However, I was able to still use the on-demand services and I wasn't at the property during the day so it was okay. A fan might be useful as I was hot in the master bedroom (no heating on). I'm not a fan of the booking system, where you have to wait for the owner to acknowledge the request. Only because it was a nervous wait when I also had to book other accommodation elsewhere for the second leg of the trip and I had to co-ordinate flights. However, the response was relatively quick.
