Holiday rentals near Mokai Beach

We want to thank our host Clara for allowing us to live in her beautiful Salo home. To spend a week beside the lake, in such a fabulous property, has been a privilege. Clara was so helpful throughout. She met us on arrival and gave us many pieces of advice. She even allowed us to follow her along the narrow Salo streets to ensure that our hire car was parked in a safe location. We will be back. Grazie mille.

There is so much about this property to say! It is full of old world charm and is a striking property! The scenery is stunning and the 'swimming pool' at the bottom of the garden was amazing!! Lake Garda is glorious and to have that within feet of your back door is incredible. Go pay a visit to this property, you wouldn't be disappointed!

Due to late flight into Verona Airport, our arrival at Stefano apartments was quite late & in darkness. Despite this, our wonderful host Barbara met us and took time to show us our apartment & explain everything to us. The apartment was spotlessly clean & very comfortable and on our first morning, the true splendour of Lake Garda was revealed from our balcony. The location of the apartments is excellent albeit the access lane to the front gate can be quite challenging due to the steep & uneven terrane. During our stay, we found the apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday and we have no hesitation in recommending it to our family & friends who may wish to visit this beautiful location.

A beautiful apartment with everything you could need. The location is in the heart of Desenzano just a few min walk to the Ferry, 15-20 min walk to large supermarket although a small local shop just opposite and a fab bakery 2 min away. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. Our hosts were super helpful and the beds very comfy. I’d highly recommend, particularly if you like being in the heart of the town. It’s about 15 min walk to the train station and 30 - 40 min taxi ride to Verona airport.

The view from Villa Carolin is amazing and we lived on the terrace! The property worked well for the four of us as we wanted a bedroom each. Felt it should be clearer in the listing that the two floors are not connected and only accessed from the outside. A small microwave would have been an advantage. Rolf and Sarah were brilliant at communicating with us, before and during our stay.

A perfect family house with beautiful grounds and a superb view. Pierra is a genuinely concerned and considerate host. The house is well equipped and everything is of good quality. We found it an idea location with young children and would love to return.

Good sized and comfortable apartment with generous garden and magnificent views. There is a lovely terrace to sit and eat out, see the lake and the mountains, and watch the boats and the sunsets. The garden has olives and other trees, with lots of places to sit and lounge - both shady spots and sunny spots. Inside there is a very spacious sitting room with comfy chairs. There are maps and information about walks, and also books and magazines. The kitchen is fairly small but very well equipped, lots of pots and utensils, and everything works well. The owners are very welcoming, generous and helpful. Torri del Benaco is a short walk away down an interesting (and steep) high-walled road. See if you can find all the ammonite fossils in the stones along the way! Torri is a nice little town, with lots of restaurants, cafes and boutiques, a couple of decent small supermarkets. There are bigger supermarkets at Garda and Bardolino. There is a good bus service, and there are ferries but we didn’t use those. There are lots of directions to go walking from the house. The walk to Crero is delightful, and the new Tibetan bridge across a spectacular gorge beyond Crero is a must. It is mountainbiking heaven - we reckon it is better than the more famous Riva end of the lake. There are lots of really good rides at all levels of difficulty. There is a bike hire (including e-bikes) shop in Torri.
