Such a fantastic stay with a kind and attentive host. Giusi was so lovely and easy to communicate with. She visited the evening of our arrival and was so warm and friendly. The property is perfect. The bedrooms are comfortable with great (much needed) aircon, the balcony is breathtaking with views of the sea and beach.The location couldn’t be better. Steps to the Funivia to go up to the town with numerous bars and restaurants. You can walk down the steps to Mazzaro Beach and Isola Bella. Just opposite are very handy shops to pick up food and drinks aswell as little takeaways selling delicious Sicilian food. Thank you Guisi. See you when we visit again.

We loved our stay here. We stayed in the old farm house and it was fantastic. Quirky, rustic and lovely. The main bedroom has air con but the rest of the place doesn't, but that didn't bother us. As the bedrooms are downstairs they are cooler. It even has a turret! The garden is a magical wonderland, with a treehouse sitting on an old olive tree, a tortoise, lemon and lime trees, grape vines... and all around, it has been carefully and subtly designed to create spaces with trees and lighting for differnet places to hang out. The pool is lovely and has a view of Etna. It erupted while we were there and it was very exciting. The hosts are lovely, great communication, very helpful - on-site but not under your feet. The location is fantastic for day trips around the East coast. Highly recommended!!

The most beautiful, breathtaking, phenomenal, magistical, stunning view of Isola Bella. The apartment is well equipment and the beds super comfy. The aircon provided much needed respite from the summer temperatures ( early July). The terrace offers outside dining or aperitifs with the best view. There is a lift to help you up those last few stairs to the apartment after slogging the stairs to and from the beach ( which are very worth every step). Make sure to take your beach shoes ( the rocks are a hard on your feet without them) and a snorkel and mask. Nothing was too big a problem for Carmelo, who without hestitation, came out at midnight to fix something for us. The apartment is close to the cable car up to Taormina ( runs from 8 am to 1am) or there are regular busses from right outside the apartment door. Be prepared to want to come back. 💜

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at Case di Bacco in it's unique location. Our 2 bedroom appartment was ideal and well equipped for our family of 4 with wifi (much appreciated by our teenagers) and air con (very welcome coming in from 33 degree heat some days). The gardens surrounding the appartment are beautiful and you get a great view of Etna whilst relaxing by the pool. Gabriella, Alfio and Ricardo were very attentive and friendly hosts and happy to advise on places to see and eat. One of the most enjoyable and memorable days of our week was the excursion up to Etna which Alfio took us on in his jeep. Alfio and his son Ricardo were able to give us a tour of north Etna and introduced us to some of the excellent food specialities of the region. Zafferano Etnea is a very lively local town which had entertaining music and dancing going on around the main square in the week we were there. We also enjoyed and were very impressed by the sites and culture at Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. You definitely need a car to explore this area as the property is quite remote. For those that enjoy relaxing with great views, eating good food, drinking good local wine and exploring sites of architectural/archaelogical significance, this is a great holiday! Excellent stay in this great country house surrounded by citrus trees. The house has two large bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area. Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. Mario and Angela are wonderful hosts.
