Holiday rentals near Irminio River Nature Reserve

Loved our stay - beautiful property which is kept extremely clean and has all the facilities you would want. It is well-located to visit Sampieri and the many other beaches on the coast and towns inland (Scicli in particular is stunning). Above all Renato and his team are extremely hospitable and welcoming and we loved staying there!

Before we arrived Adele & Salvo were very helpful and generous with their time, sharing information about the area. We also found them to be very hospitable and over the length of our stay, we came to regard them as our friends. The house suited us down to the ground and was very clean: it was a little walk into MDR itself and in doing so the casa location offered us tranquility...a place to return to when we return to MDR

Enjoyed our stay at Casa Ritegno, will surely come back again, highly recommend who wants to enjoy a holiday in peaceful surroundings but yet close to all amenities, many thanks to Alberto and his father 😊

The villa was in first rate condition, plenty of space and the large kitchen it had all the things we needed and more. A lovely swimming pool which was well maintained. Beds and linen were of the highest quality. A relief to find that there were plenty of plates,cutlery pans etc so no problems preparing our own meals which could be enjoyed on large tables outside or inside. There was a large BBQ which was perfect for preparing one of our dinners. The villa is in a long way from other properties, shops and restaurants. Ideal if you want peace and quiet, but a car is essential. Our host and his wife provided us with plenty of on line information about restaurants shops and places to visit. Most useful. The one thing that impressed me most was that, as we had three small children I confirmed at the outset that child cots would be available. Only a few days before we left one of the mothers realised that she would not have sufficient space to bring a baby bouncer (a lightweight rocking chair) for her six month old daughter. On contacting the villa to ask if we could hire one locally I was told that a baby bouncer would be provided free of charge. First rate service.

We were very impressed when we arrived with how clean the property was. It was immaculate! The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. To the extent of purchasing an ice cream birthday cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday and helping us fix our broken wheels on our pushchair and ordering us pizza to be delivered. They were so helpful! What an amazing place to stay! You won’t be disappointed.

Very simple process, excellent communication with owner. Spotless and spacious. Games equipment and cycles provided too, though everywhere in Marina di Ragusa is eqsily walkable.

A lovely comfortable apartment overlooking the sea. Fabia couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel at home.

From the moment we began the booking process with Vittorio and Lia, they couldn't have made things easier. They are an absolute delight and have your happiness and comfort in mind at all times. It was very easy to communicate with them via this website and then by text when we arrived. We have stayed in many villas over the years but have never been greeted with such genuine pleasure as when we met Vittorio and Lia- I'm not sure it is possible to be warmer than they are! The villa is just beautiful- crafted and furnished with real love. It is equipped with everything you could need both inside and out. Often hosts put rules around the use of towels and furniture around the pool and beach- none of this from Vittorio and Lia, in fact they provided beach chairs and umbrella for us! The pool is great for cooling off and was in sunshine until 7pm at least when we visited in July/ August. It's not for swimming but the beach is so close that it really didn't matter. The area around the villa is very peaceful but the excitements of Marina Di Ragusa are a short drive (its walkable if you choose). Your hosts are attentive but without being intrusive. The pool is cleaned regularly by Vittorio, he's very considerate about when he comes but he's such a nice guy, it's lovely to see him. Thank you so much to Vittorio and Lia.
