Staying in this stunning apartment in Arezzo was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, Stefano (and his gorgeous dog Spritz) made us feel completely at home. The apartment is beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with classic Italian charm. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the elegant decor to the stunning bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Arezzo and nearby cities and towns (Florence, Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena, Cortona and San Gimignano). The location is unbeatable. It is in a quiet area and a short walk to shops and restaurants. The car parking area was also close by. We never had trouble securing a space each day. Our host, Stefano, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing local tips and restaurant recommendations and even cooking an amazing meal for us on our last night. His genuine hospitality made our experience even more special, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. Overall, this apartment in Arezzo is a gem, combining comfort, style, and an authentic Tuscan experience. We would return in a heartbeat, especially in winter, when we can enjoy the magnificent fireplace, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Casa Rosa is a lovely (spacious) Italian cottage set in romantically crafted gardens. Looking out towards Caprese Michelangelo on the opposite hillside was a perfect setting. The October sun shone for most of the time & this gave our in the countryside experience a wonderful & much appreciated boost. At this time of year it’s always a lottery. We had only one rainy day in 15. The house is lovely & we arrived to find a very generous welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, bread & fruit etc. Plus a fabulous bottle of wine & Prosecco ! The bedroom is well appointed, charming & has a wonderful comfy bed (So often the ruin of a holiday rental !!). The bathroom was roomy, well appointed & boasting a powerful hot shower. For those relaxing evenings, the DVD & book collection was the best I’ve seen offered to HomeAway renters. The kitchen lounge was great & had everything we needed to make our own meals, no different from home. Everything had been thought of. The amazing log fire burner in the lounge was much needed at this time of year as the nights fell very cool. So a satisfying evening in was made complete once I’d completed the daily cleaning ritual of last nights embers & relite from the ample wood stores at the back of the house. The location in Lama May be a bit remote for some but a car rental made Anghiari, Arezzo, Cortona & Siena easily accessible. So a hire car was essential. We also parked at Arezzo & took the marvellous train service to Florence for the day, which was a great alternative. Overall, we give Casa Rosa 10/10. Thank for a wonderful home base. We just completed a two week stay, or better said, perfect getaway. We are from Vancouver, BC and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Our three daughters, spouses and three grand children accompanied us. The villa was more than is advertised, clean, fresh, bright and everything that we needed to prepare meals. Iacopo (pronounced Ya-co-po) was super friendly and generous, (beautiful pies randomly gifted to us), we had no need to ask for anything, nor any complaints. We took advantage of the cooking classes on site and enjoyed two marvellous meals as a result. Bonella, the on site manager was more than helpful. She is indeed a beautiful person. In advance of our arrival she arranged a photographer for us, and a world class chef to come to our villa and prepare a sumptuous meal. We can only say, thank you Iacopo and Bonella for making a dream come true. The location is perfect, views from the villa are spectacular, some family members took the train from Arezzo to Florence, Rome and Venice. Oh, and don't be fearful of driving over there, it was a breeze.
