From the moment we arrived, this villa felt like a true safe haven. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it offered the seclusion and peace we didn’t know we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with loved ones, this is the place.The villa itself is thoughtfully laid out, with a spacious main house with one bedroom with en-suite, 2 reception rooms and a separate annex that includes two additional bedrooms with a bathroom, perfect for a bit of privacy even within your own group. The private pool was a highlight for all of us, offering relaxation under the sun and fun for the children, keeping them entertained morning till night. The grounds are a generous size, giving everyone space to unwind, play, and soak in the natural surroundings. There was a tv and we did not use itOne of the standout features was the warm, welcoming local family who live onsite but keep there distance unless you ask for help. A translation app would be needed. For an additional cost, they cooked the most exquisite delicious, home-style meals for us, truly restaurant quality but with all the love of a family kitchen. They were also kind enough to take us to the supermarket, which made everything easier and more comfortable.We all thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we could return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with a personal touch.

Beautiful Villa, gorgeous garden and pool.

The appartment is in the centre of Gueliz, it has all the facilities one needs, is was very clean.Ayoub Atef was allways there when you needed him: very helpfull ans friendly.I would recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic Riad in Marrakesh. An oasis of calm in the chaos of the city. The place is extremely clean and given a daily once over by the lovely husband and wife team of Hassan and Meriem. We would recommend having the breakfast - a royal way to start the day. We also had a delicious evening meal made for us on one evening. 4 spacious en-suite bedrooms and a roof terrace. Walking distance to most sites. Property manager was extremely helpful and organised transfers and a private guide for us.

The property pictures did not do it justice. We were welcomed warmly with some extremely tasteful food Widjene had prepared. Youseff showed us the property and we got our bearings very quickly. We underestimated the cold that time of year but we soon adjusted. Abdel addressed allquestions we had promptly. This is a loveky villa and gave us a different experience. Widjene's food is a top highlight. Abdel linked us up with a driver who took us everywhere we wanted to go to for reasoable prices. We have travelled the world for 20 + years now as a family. In North America, Europe, Asia…you name it, we have probably been there. I wanted to give some context about our stay in Dar Salma. It is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Amazing house, large, peaceful and rich gardens, beautiful pool. Now on to the team: Aicha, Yemna and Mohammed are absolutely superb. So friendly, kind and helpful. Ohh, and the typical Moroccan food they prepared was so tasty 😋 They really made our stay very special. The location of Dar Salma is also perfect, just outside of Marrakech and easily accessible by taxi. We also hired a car and traveled into the Atlas Mountains (spectacular) and down to the coast during our stay. A special mention to Corinne the amazing host of Dar Salma. Thank you so much Corinne, nothing was ever too much trouble. You & your team have helped make happy memories for our family.

We have wanted to visit Marrakech for a long time but wanted a Riad to ourselves. This 2 bedroom riad is the perfect solution in every way. The property is sensitively renovated and very authentic. The location is perfect, with Jemma el-Fna Square literally 3 minutes walk from the front door. There is also a bureau de change round the corner (all Banks and BdC offered the same rates within 0.3dhm so no point shopping around). There is a wide selection of restaurants throughout the Medina all within a 15-20 minute walk. My tip would be to avoid the restaurants on square. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh each day, lunch was fabulous and we had dinner in the Riad on 2 occasions. Fatima’s cooking is at least as good as, if not better than, most of the local restaurants. We ate at Naranj and Les Cantine de Gazelle, 2 top rated restaurants in Trip Adviser and they were no better than Fatima’s cooking. Finally, communication with Pierre, the property owner, was very efficient and informative. He responded promptly every time we contacted him during the booking process and in the lead up to our stay. The week before we travelled he sent emails with loads of information and recommendations on what to do and where to go. He made all the arrangements we needed for airport transfers and drivers for any excursions we had booked ourselves. He was happy to help with everything to ensure our stay was stress free. If you want to visit Marrakech but have any apprehensions then this is the place to stay. This was one of the best experiences of my life and I would recommend Pierre, his Riad and his team very highly.
