Super clean. Super friendly hosts. You could ask any questions of them and they were quick to answer and genuinely interested in making your stay comfortable. The area was quiet and serene with a couple of lovely bars and cafes close by. If you want hustle and bustle this is not the place to stay but if you want hustle and bustle close by with great host then this would be the place for you.

We really enjoyed a family stay in this apartment. It is in a vibrant yet relaxed area, with some lovely bars and cafes a stones throw away, as well as the botanical gardens. Hosts were very helpful, with good communication and the apartment was spotless and comfortable.

The houseboat was in a perfect location. Less than 5 minutes from the tram stop into the centre of Amsterdam. There is a supermarket, bars & Restaurants close by. The accommodation was clean & well equipped we would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Amsterdam

We didn’t actually stay as due to the storms, all trains and flights to Amsterdam were cancelled so we were couldn’t get further than St Pancras’s Eurostar queue. However, Philip couldn’t have been more helpful and kind, he was prepared to wait and welcome us late and when we confirmed we couldn’t make it, offered alternative dates too. So if we are able to come another time we wouldn’t hesitate to contact Philip and stay at his apartment.

Nice spacious room with good natural lighting. staff were extremely helpful especially Joseph who went beyond my expectations to ensure my visit to De Jonker And Amsterdam was a pleasant one. i will definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends.

Had a problem paying the deposit when first arriving as my card got declined numerous time as I didn’t let them know I was in Amsterdam so they thought was fraud. Women as the desk couldn’t have been anymore helpful and understanding. Room was absolute stunning, not what I was expecting, couldn’t doubt the staff or the hotel at all. Highly recommend!!
