Hilversum holiday lettings

The property is beautifully located on the edge of a small water way, with direct access Trek Gatern which is a nature reserve and very beautiful, full of bird life and water lilies in bloom. We took our Canadian canoe and this is a perfect area to explore-we even saw a beaver! There is a rowing boat available for use on site.The garden is thoughtfully laid for maximum privacy and relaxation.We received a very warm welcome from the hosts and had everything we needed in the property for our stay. Would recommend wholeheartedly, especially to those with a canoe or kayak. Many thanks.

The property was roomy and immaculate. It was very comfortable with a large bed and living room. The kitchenette provided everything we needed for self catering if we wanted to eat in. Very easy to shop for food with a supermarket close by and easy access to public transport and all the sights of interest with canals on the doorstep. Our host was very helpful and greeted us upon arrival. Would definitely recommend this fabulous apartment.

We had such an Amazing time staying here! The boat is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable and clean! It's in the perfect location and Dana was so kind and helpful! We hope we can come back and stay here again!!!

Loved our stay. This apartment is so cosy and in such a great location. You can sit with a cup of tea and watch all the canal boats and all the comings and goings! Definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and just a short trip from central Amsterdam.

Didrecht and his wife were extremely helpful and ensured our stay was perfect, suggested places to visit, eat etc. This is a great place to explore exceptional places to visit within an hours drive.

Ideal apartment for our short break, being able to sit out on the balcony was a big bonus. Communication with Astrid before we arrived, and during our stay, was excellent, she was always there with helpful advice. Jordaan is an ideal area to stay in, it has a really good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, with a nice atmosphere on an evening. However the centre of town isn't too far away, easy walking distance or, if you are not a walker, by tram from the end of the road. Thank you Astrid and family for a wonderful short stay in your apartment, we will definitely stay with you again if we visit Amsterdam in the future. J and J

We ended up 12 hours late at the property due to a cancelled flight and Jan the owner was so accommodating and made us feel really welcome . He met us late in the evening and explained everything so professionally about the beautiful apartment . The place was so nicely furnished and spotlessly clean . Beds were super comfy and showers really nice . Jan also supplied some hot and cold drinks and snacks which were much appreciated . It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to stay . 5 stars all the way . We will return and thanks for your amazing hospitality and tips on the area Jan . Cheers Bev and Jason
