With the farm area surrounded by a big wall and gate, the property feels quiet and secure. The "farm" itself is not a busy working area and you are unaware of anything going on. The owners met us when we arrived and took the opportunities to check everything was alright when our paths crossed but otherwise we didn't see them. The swimming pool was a massive 12m x 6m, spotless and cleaned and treated regularly and was very welcome at 40C. Things to be aware of are that the villa does not have air conditioning but it does have shutters all around to keep the sun out. Additionally the WiFi was slow and there was no TV - totally welcome and not a problem in our case but it might impact some people.

Stayed with 5 other females for a 4 night break. Not only was the villa equipped with everything you could possible need, it was spotlessly clean and spacious with lots of seating areas inside and around the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out and take a few minutes to yourself away from the others if and when any of needed to. All the beds were super comfy. The villa owner really did think of everything, from displaying interesting items and artwork to admire, through to ironing boards, coffee machine etc. the villa is well located, 15 minute walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. We loved House of Wonders for brunch and dinner. They served the best sangria we tasted throughout our stay. We spent a day in Lisbon and a day in Sintra, both were easy to travel to. We chose Uber as it worked out easiest and most economical since 6 of us were sharing the costs. We al enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you Vicky, your house is beautiful and you obviously take much pride in renting your property.

We chose the Barca Charm House for its location, family friendliness and wonderful reviews. Each review referred to the hospitality of our hosts and I have to agree with previous reviewers, Sandra and Eduardo were exceptional. The house is comfortable and fully equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and so much more. The only item we were unable to bring with us was a potty for our 2 year old. Sandra was immediately on the case and brought a brand new potty round which was so helpful! There is so much to see and do in the area that a week just wasn’t long enough. We left with heavy hearts. Our family are spread out over the world and time spent together is very precious. We made many happy memories in the Charm house. Thank you Sandra and Eduardo. Perfect for a couple, perfect location to explore Lisbon, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet at night with the windows shut and well equipped with everything we could of wanted,we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here and a fantastic holiday. Ralph made the whole process very smooth and gave great recommendations for the local area. The villa was perfect for us- clean, well equipped and close to beaches, shops and restaurants. We loved it and hope to return!

The photos don’t quite do it justice although they give a fairly good feel of what to expect. Very spacious and well equipped, super comfortable, and perfect for our family (7 adults and a baby). The pool was great as it has a shallow area along the whole length, and there was just so much outside space for everyone to relax and enjoy the break. Sofia was a wonderful host, very responsive, and Ketan the house manager was also great to deal with. Some beach towels and soap that were missing on arrival were very quickly brought to us by Sofia. The bbq area was great and the views of the ocean were just magnificent.

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment has everything you need and is lovely and spacious. Perfect for two people. It is in an amazing location too, close to supermarket and all the sights! Filipa was an excellent host, she gave us some great recommendations of things to do and the communication was great. Thank you so much! We would 100% recommend!
