El Raval holiday lettings

This is an amazing apartment right in the middle of the wonderful El Ravel area, just 2 minutes walk from Las Ramblas, but much quieter. What a great apartment. 3 good sized double rooms, an excellently kitted out kitchen open plan to a living area, and a lovely rooftop terrace that we used a lot in mornings and evenings. Just one point is that a/c is in the living/kitchen area and then 2 in the loooong corridor that joins the bedrooms, not actually in the bedrooms themselves. It was 30+C when we were there, and in the main bedroom that has one of the a/cs in the corridor with no door in the way it was plenty cool enough, but for the other 2 bedrooms it was a bit warm at night if they kept the door to the corridor closed. But all bedrooms did have a good ceiling fan. This apartment also had a lot of charm, genuine wooden beam ceilings etc. and furnishings to suit. And it has a 'lived in' feel that we liked - it is a home, not a sterile ''holiday apartment'.

Toni, the landlord, is always available, at the stroke of your message to him! The studio is comfortable and functional – brand new, clean and just the right size. Toni provides thoughtful amenities, from ironing board and iron, to toaster, clothes pins, kitchen pots/pans, clothes hanger, detergent, etc. The bed is super comfortable with extra blankets, sheets, pillows, etc., even a down comforter!! The location is quite strategic, next to Filmoteca, a great film archive with classic movie offerings in many languages for only two euros. You are also within minutes of Plaza Catalunya, major metro lines and buses. The flat is in the heart of the city, linked to activities and iconic destinations. The building is very quiet and private. Neighbors are friendly, neighborhood is safe, multicultural, near shops and restaurants. A/C and heat is more than adequate.
