Colombo holiday lettings

I would recommend this place for fun, peace and fantastic food.

We (5 adults) were in Colombo for a wedding at the Cinnamon Grand and this apartment was a perfect location. Really convenient to the hotel, shopping malls, short walk to Galle Face Green and walkable to Fort area too. Great sea views and lovely having the rooftop pool! Bathrooms feel a bit tired and thinner bath mats for under the shower door are an easy fix, but it was ideal for what we needed. Communication with the host and property manager was really good.throughout, so a very seamless process. Would stay again!

As we arrived at the house it looks amazing from the outside. Claudia greeted us warmly and showed us the essentials kitchen washing machine etc. And left us to settle in. As a family of 9 we used all the bedrooms which were very comfortable and had fans and mosquito nets. We found the villa very spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The outside grounds were immaculate and the swimming pool was fantastic and was very well used during our stay. The gardener and pool attendant were very friendly and supplied us with king coconuts. Next door neighbour made sure we had plenty of water for the water cooler and it was no trouble . The location is beautiful right on the lagoon. Easy to get a tuc tuc at the end of the road for trips into Negombo. We enjoyed the company of 2 dogs, a rabbit ,a budgie, a tortoise and chipmunks much to the delight of the children and we all have a soft spot for Beauty and Nicki. Due the trouble in Sri Lanka when we were visiting we spent a lot of time in the villa and we felt perfectly safe . The owners and the Sri Lanka people were so thoughtful at this sad time in making sure we were ok. We would highly recommend this property and we hope to return again. Good location and easy to maintain. Pool and gym are very useful. Payment through Vrbo wasn’t genuine. I have ended up paying for the entire stay 3 times of the original price showed. It was tricky. Very uncomfortable beds/mattresses and the sofas too. From washing machine there was always an intolerable smell coming which covered the entire house all the time.bedsheets were very thinCurtain blinds were unable to operate.
