A fantastic house - you can see Ephesus, St John’s Basillica and one of the 7 wonders of the world 5 minute walk into the town of Selcuk which is an authentic Turkish town. Alison’s communications and support were great

Just back from a lovely stay at the Lavender Residence in Sogucak. The resort was lovely and the staff managing the resort were extremely helpful and responded quickly and positively to any requests. Our apartment 1B was very comfortable and well equipped for self catering including a washing machine. It had its own garden area with sun beds for our personal use (not sure all apartments have this) and a table and chairs. The pool area was beautiful and the pool very much needed to cool down as it was very hot during our stay. We did not try the onsite restaurant so cannot comment on this. Shops, bakery and the fruit/veg market in the village a short drive away catered for everyday needs and there were plenty of supermarkets within a 10/15 minute drive. Whilst we did see a food delivery van delivering from Migros Supermarket, it is important to note that the apartments are not within walking distance of the village and you therefore really need a car when staying here. My only other concern would be for people who are not fully mobile as the resort is build on a hill and has steep slopes and stairs. Would definitely recommend and would certainly look to return for a relaxing holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at this property in Selçuk. It is even better than shown in the photographs. There are several flower filled outside areas so you can chase the sun or shade during the day. The view from the high terrace of the citadel, sea and sunset is a highlight and a perfect place to have a drink to round off the day. Inside the house is well designed to give a bright and spacious feel. Everything provided is good quality, comfortable and well maintained. Arranging through Alison to be met and returned to the airport and being able to keep the car during our stay was so worthwhile. We made good use of it to visit all the incredible sights but the property is also within easy walking distance of the town. Alison was an amazing host, prompt in all our communications and very knowledgeable. It was so helpful to arrive to milk, butter, eggs etc and plenty of cleaning products. Having stupidly left my phone at the house she kindly saw to it’s safe return which was so appreciated. Altogether one of best experiences.

We stayed for 9 days and it was one of the best holidays we've ever had! The 3 brothers, Mehmet, Mete and Oktay are amazing. This is not a huge place but the apartments and pool/bar area are spotlessly clean, the sheets/towels changed often and there are plenty of beds and umbrellas for basking in the sun. Breakfast is tasty and varied and the bar and snacks/meals are available all day and are reasonably priced. Proper homemade chips! Ladies Beach is a 5 min walk, lovely restaurants and shopping. The Dolmus is near for the town centre or a taxi in or out is only €2/3. Mehmet checks the exchange rate daily so we changed our sterling/euro with him when we needed it. Can't thank Mehmet, Mete and Oktay enough for making our stay so enjoyable and fun. They are so friendly, kind and helpful it's no wonder everyone adores them.
