Holiday rentals near Mercia Park

We loved this unique property which had so much history, original features and a quirky wine cellar which was a cool place to go in the heat if the weekend! The decor was beautifully done with quality fixtures and fittings and the bed was super comfy. The owners who live in the attached main house were there to show us round and were incredibly friendly even inviting us to their family garden party on the Saturday! Nothing was too much trouble and they were there if needed. We knew the kitchen was small, from the description which was a challenge but the combi microwave oven was very useful and we had everything we needed. Overall a unique experience in a great location.

Just perfect for our needs. Great for our two little dogs too. Even nicer than photos! Stayed cool on a hot day too which was so welcome. Definitely stay again if in the area.

A repeat of my earlier review to prove I genuinely did like it so much that I booked a second week!!!!An absolutely charming property in a beautiful location. We feel so fortunate to have stayed here — and indeed liked it so much we extended our stay! The barn conversion is stunning. The interior design is the perfect marriage of form and function. And the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. This is the perfect country retreat if you want to curl up with a book by a log fire. The kitchen is a delight to cook in — and there's Ingham's Farm Shop nearby for deluxe supplies! And there's lots to do in the surrounding area for those seeking adventure. This is an absolute hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

Quiet and peaceful, easy to get around if you want to go out, need a car

We used the gatehouse as a base when meeting up with family for the weekend. The accommodation was bright, living areas spacious and very clean. Host was easy to contact & helpful.

Very clean and well furnished with all we needed for the stay. The beams are quite low throughout the house, not just on the top floor, so we had a lot of bruised heads.

The property was spotless and had everything we needed for our short break. Communication with Scott was excellent. Perfect location for us as very local to family that we were visiting. I’m sure we’ll be back to stay here again for future visits.
