Dovey Junction Station holiday lettings

Outstandingly beautiful place to stay, high in the hills, with just the sound of sheep bleating. The accommodation was exactly as listed and was finished to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable. I felt very safe as a lone traveller.

Riverside Cottage is situated in a fairytale setting, with woodland behind and the river in front of the cottage. Access is easy, however, and we had no problems finding it. We could park the car close to the front door. Gaining entry was easy, following the clear instructions we'd received, and we found the cottage clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. In the evening when the temperature dropped the electric fire warmed the living area up very quickly. We slept very well. The location is very convenient for visiting nearby attractions, and we visited The Ffestiniog Railway, the Talyllyn Railway and the Vale of Rheidol Railway during our stay, taking in Barmouth, Porthmadog and Aberystwyth. We ate out once, down the road at the George III pub at Penmaenpool, which was very nice and had very quick service. The rest of the time we cooked in the cottage. We will be back and next time will be spending more time watching out for the wildlife!

The studio was clean, very comfortable and well equipped for our overnight stay. Stunning scenery in extremely peaceful location. Clare and Enge were great hosts who were friendly and attentive whilst giving us privacy. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

This beautiful, modern and spacey home is the perfect place to stay when visiting Barmouth, Wales. It has plenty of space, two super nice bathrooms and all of the amenities you could require — smart TV, huge dining table (perfect for board games), dishwasher, oven, etc — you really can't go wrong with booking this property! It is also superbly located nearby plenty of cafes, restaurants, takeaways and shops — Co-op and Iceland are less than a 5-min walk away — and the station/beach are roughly the same time away too. Nothing bad to say, would highly recommend :)

This is a very cute little cottage for 2 people, with stunning views over the harbour. Be warned, you need to be reasonably fit to to take your luggage up the 100+ steps that lead up to the property. Assuming that you are fit enough, then this is a fabulous little cottage.

The host removed the listing off Vrbo after I’d booked the stay, and I never received arrival information until 4:30 when check in was at 3, however the place was lovely and clean.

The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Contact with the owner for quiries was prompt. The building is exceptionally handy for beach access. The only drawback is that the property is on a main road so there is a lot of passing traffic and noise into the night. However, the views of the sea and the headland overlooking the bay do compensate for this :)
